2025 LCGA Event Schedule

Annual Special Events:

March Madness Match Play -  Couples Bracket Match Play Event

This will be an18 hole event played over the course of a few months. The Kick-Off, first round will take place on March 2nd, 2025. Each couple will be randomly paired with another couple for a Match play couple’s event. The winning couples will be placed in a bracket A and the remaining couples will be placed in bracket B. Couples will then be ranked accordingly to handicaps. Each couple will be responsible to make tee times with the next couple, within a set amount on days. Only winning teams advance after the second round. The winning couple from each bracket will play each other to be crowned the Couple Match Play Champion. We will inform the association as to where and when that round will be played so you can watch and cheer on your bracket winner.  (capped at 64 couples)

Honey BB’s Couples 9 Hole Best Ball Series  

This is designed to get to know fellow couples at the club and grow the community of golfers at The Landings. It helps members meet, mingle and grow in fellowship as they play with other couples and have opportunity to enjoy dinners/cocktails with one another after their round.

  • Couples play as many 9 holes rounds as they wish with all different couples

  • Three rounds need to be completed within the defined window of time

  • You can play as many rounds as you would like but only the top 3 rounds will count towards final ranking

  • A fourth round will be included that is posted from the closing Tournament 

  • Net scores calculated using 100% players handicap with max 2 strokes per hole

  • Series begins with a kick off Shotgun event held on two courses on June 22 (You do not need to play this day.)

  • Final Round to be played on November 9th. (You must play this day to be in the final tournament.)

  • Tournament is flighted by total combined handicap; Flight Shoot Out follows

  • Trophies for all flights as well as overall winners

  • Dinner Party at Kick Off and Final Round at the Club

 

2025 Schedule 

  • Jan 5th           18 Holes - 2 Couple team Scramble, Palmetto (max field 48 couples)

  • Feb 2nd          9 Holes - 2 Couple 1 or more Net Better Ball, Deer Creek (max field 52 couples)

  • Mar 2nd          18 Holes - Swing into Solstice Kick Off of Couples Match Play, Marsh/Mag (max field 64 couples)

  • May 4th           18 Holes - 2 Couple 1 Ball on par 5’s, 2 Balls Par 4, 3 Balls par 3, Palmetto (max field 52 couples)

  • June 22nd       9 Holes - Honey BB’s Kick Off round (max field 104 couples).  From June 1 to October 17, schedule your own games and meet other LCGA couples. You do NOT have to play on June 22nd to participate, but you do have to submit at least three 9-hole scores by October 17.

  • Aug 3rd            9 Holes - Modified Scotch (max field 52 couples)

  • Sept 7th           18 Holes - Couples 1BB odd Holes, 2 BB even holes (max field 52 couples)

  • Oct 12th           9 Holes - 3,3,3 1 BB, 2 BB, 3BB (max field 104 couples)

  • Nov 2nd            9 Holes - HoneyBB Series Best Ball Final (max field 104 couples)

 

Most of our events will end with a member billed food function. We will inform all members of the food cost prior to signing up to play.
